Forging international tax rules: the devil is in the detail

There has been an unprecedented public, media and political focus on tax over the past 12 months and the OECD’s Action Plan on Base Erosion and Profit-Shifting has been at the centre of that debate. This weekend in Brisbane we expect to see the G20 leaders endorse the OECD’s initiatives to get multi-lateral agreement on the shape of the future global tax system.

Here Grant Wardell-Johnson, Partner at KPMG’s Australian Tax Centre, gives his views on the key implications of the OECD/G20 campaign.
